Hands-On Learning at NOV’s Autonomous Drilling Rig

API Houston members joined the Energy Coalition in an engaging visit to NOV's rig site in Houston. This unique opportunity allowed students to experience oil rig operations up close, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry practices.

During the tour, students explored advanced drilling technologies, critical safety protocols, and the challenges of maintaining efficiency on a rig. These valuable insights provided a deeper understanding of the oil and gas industry's role within the energy transition.
